Welcome To Snohomish County Republican Women’s Club

We are a group of diverse Republican women seeking and working diligently to improve the lives of people in our communities; we support quality Republican candidates running for office; we educate ourselves with knowledgeable and thoughtful speakers. We are on a mission to inform voters and bring women together to travail for our families and communities.


We hold our club’s meetings on the second Thursday of each month, with exception of July and August. The location is at Shawn O’Donnell’s at 122-128th Street SE Everett, WA.


Doors open at 10:45 am and the meeting begins promptly at 11:00, the speaker typically starts around 11:15 and continues until lunch is served at noon. A short business meeting takes place after lunch.

Lunch is $16.00, please make checks payable to Shawn O’Donnell’s. Lunch is optional, but please let us know you’re coming so we may reserve a seat for you.


russellMarch 8, 2018, featured speaker Russell Wiita

A lifelong resident of the Sky Valley, Councilmember Russell Wiita was elected to the Sultan City Council in 2015. He graduated from Sultan High School in 2012, serving as the Sultan City Council Student Representative during the 2010 – 2011 school year.

Other community outreach has included service on Mayor Carolyn Eslick’s blue-ribbon committee to plan the creation of the new Sultan Boys & Girls Club, and involvement with the Sky Valley Teen Court, a grant-funded project that took place in 2010 and 2011.

Russell graduated from the University of Washington in 2015, with a bachelor’s degree in political science. While a student at UW, he was involved in student government, the Husky Marching Band and served as an intern for the Washington State House of Representatives. During his time in Olympia, Wiita provided support to 39th District Reps. Elizabeth Scott and Dan Kristiansen, and 15th District Rep. David Taylor. His work included legislative research, bill-tracking, answering phones, responding to constituents and other duties as assigned.

Russell works as the legislative aide to Snohomish County Councilmember Nate Nehring, who serves Snohomish County Council District 1. Prior to that, he worked in accounting at the University of Washington Law School and as a project coordinator for a consumer products manufacturer in Monroe.

In his spare time, Russell plays in the American Poolplayers Association billiards league, and has played in regional and national tournaments.
